PremierWest Bank makes donation to NVCSS

In honor of the 25th Anniversary of NVCSS, PremierWest Bank has made a contribution of $2,500 to the Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Program of Shasta County.

PremierWest Bank has taken a lead role in financially supporting the CASA program in Shasta County, where as many as 550 children are in the foster care system.

The mission of CASA is simple – “to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.”

NVCSS is grateful for the support of PremierWest Bank as a community-minded business partner and is proud to recognize this most recent contribution to the Agency as part of the “Silver Anniversary Campaign”.

On May 1st, NVCSS proudly celebrates 25 years of compassionately and respectfully helping people gain and maintain their independence through programs in the areas of housing, mental health services, teen services, family, and community support.

Northern Valley Catholic Social Service was founded in 1986 with just one volunteer and one employee united in a vision of providing help and creating hope in Shasta County. Since then, NVCSS has grown in its mission of reaching out effectively in care and love to those in need. The agency now employs 161 people who serve nearly 30,000 clients each year across six counties: (Butte, Glenn, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama & Trinity).

If you would like to make a contribution to the Silver Anniversary Campaign, you can do so by clicking here and selecting “Silver Anniversary Campaign” from the drop down menu.

Proudly celebrating 25 years of service in the north state...
