Annual NVCSS/Kohl’s Cares for Kids Shopping Event

What: Kohl’s Cares for Kids and Northern Valley Catholic Social Service (NVCSS) partner again to help underprivileged students (K-5th) look their best and feel more confident as they go back to school.
When: Saturday, July 30, 2011
Goal: Raise $16,000 to take 160 kids shopping for new school clothes.
NVCSS needs your help to make this day possible! As a non-profit partner, NVCSS raises the money for the children to participate. We would like to invite you to partner with us this year by sending us a cash contribution in any amount. For every $100 dollars contributed, one more child can start the school year wearing new shoes and clothes.
If you’re interested in volunteering to shop with a child at the event, please contact Tiffany Eckman, Volunteer Assistant, at 530-247-3330.

North Valley Bank makes donation to NVCSS

Recognizing the service NVCSS has provided to the north state throughout the past 25 years, North Valley Bank has made a contribution of $3,500 to the Silver Anniversary Campaign.
As a fellow community-minded business partner, NVCSS appreciates the continued support of North Valley Bank and is proud to recognize this most recent contribution to the Agency as part of the “Silver Anniversary Campaign”.
May 1st will mark 25 years of NVCSS working to compassionately and respectfully help people gain and maintain their independence through programs in the areas of housing, mental health services, teen services, family, and community support.
Northern Valley Catholic Social Service was founded in 1986 with just one volunteer and one employee united in a vision of providing help and creating hope in Shasta County. Since then, NVCSS has grown in its mission of reaching out effectively in care and love to those in need. The agency now employs 161 people who serve nearly 30,000 clients each year across six counties: (Siskiyou, Shasta, Trinity, Tehama, Butte & Glenn).
If you would like to make a contribution to the Silver Anniversary Campaign, you can do so by clicking here and selecting “Silver Anniversary Campaign” from the drop down menu.
Proudly celebrating 25 years of service in the north state...
