Redding Knights of Columbus make donation to NVCSS

Recognizing the service NVCSS has provided to the north state throughout the past 25 years, the Knights of Columbus, Redding Council #3978 made a contribution of $2,500 to the Silver Anniversary Campaign.
Grand Knight Steve Maloney presented NVCSS Development Director Jake Mangas with the donation at the Shasta County anniversary celebration on Friday, June 24.
May 1st marked 25 years of NVCSS working to compassionately and respectfully help people gain and maintain their independence through programs in the areas of housing, mental health services, teen services, family, and community support.
Northern Valley Catholic Social Service was founded in 1986 with just one volunteer and one employee united in a vision of providing help and creating hope in Shasta County. Since then, NVCSS has grown in its mission of reaching out effectively in care and love to those in need. The agency now employs 161 people who serve nearly 30,000 clients each year across six counties: (Butte, Glenn, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama & Trinity).

Proudly celebrating 25 years of service in the north state...
